Randall Craig Gearhart (9/8/50 – 6/17/25)

Randall Craig Gearhart, 74, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. He was born September 8, 1950, in Flint, the son of Robert and Helen Gearhart.

An accomplished musician, Randy was active in Flint school bands, especially at Flint Northern High, where he played clarinet and saxophone and led the marching band as drum major his senior year in 1968.

In his early twenties, Randy was “Radically Saved” by Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, embarking on a career of service to God and others. He graduated from, and was ordained by, Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was later invited to return as an instructor, teaching there for several years. He subsequently pastored churches in Georgia and Tennessee, before making his home in Port Huron, where he pastored Life of Faith Fellowship, brought to fruition Landmark Academy, and was, at his passing, pastor of Living Water Fellowship.

He was a brilliant Bible teacher known for his relatable and hilarious sense of humor, passionate worship, and heart for others. He was a humble man who took pleasure in acts of service, such as shoveling driveways and sidewalks for neighbors. He was a skilled writer, photographer, and artist, but above all he was devoted to teaching, and living by, the Word of God, which touched thousands of lives. He was unwavering in his faith, and loved by many.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”-2 Timothy 4:7-8 (NKJV)
